Job summary

TOA Global Pty in Cebu, Philippines, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records, payroll processing, and US client compliance. You will reconcile bank and credit card statements, handle accounts payable, and prepare 1099s/W-2s along with sales tax filings.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience, with strong QuickBooks and Excel skills. Onsite, full-time with night shift hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of dedicated bookkeeping experience in an accounting or professional services environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and advanced Excel.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, US payroll, and sales tax reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records weekly, monthly, and quarterly and perform reconciliations; resolve ledger discrepancies.
• Process full-cycle accounts payable and vendor reconciliations; draft weekly client status emails.
• Prepare and process payroll runs; handle payroll tax returns and 1099/W-2 reporting.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and assist with audits and special accounting projects.
