Job summary

Global Staff Connections is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper in Metro Manila to maintain financial records and support clients with accurate reporting. You will handle data entry, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance and timely closes.

The role requires 2–5 years of US bookkeeping experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel, and willingness to night shift with hybrid work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting, Finance, or any relevant degree.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a US Bookkeeper.
• Experience in a US public accounting, consulting, or advisory role is advantageous.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
• Experience with other similar accounting software.
• Proficient in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Willing to work the night shift.
• Amenable to a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Verify and reconcile transactions for accuracy.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Process accounts payable transactions and issue payments to vendors.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and manage cash flow.
• Prepare financial reports: balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with management and external stakeholders on financial matters.
