Job summary

MicroSourcing invites you to join our team as a US Bookkeeper in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City. This hybrid, night-shift role handles end-to-end bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, bank and card reconciliations, and Glide through Stripe and Bill.com processes while ensuring accurate financial records.

You will maintain QuickBooks entries, assist with month-end closes, and support the Finance Manager with reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance support roles maintaining accurate financial records.
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks for day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record management.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and bookkeeping principles.
• Experience reconciling customer payments, bank accounts, and financial transactions with high accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for financial tracking, reporting, and data management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information.

Responsibilities

• Record, maintain, and reconcile accurate financial transactions to ensure the integrity of the company's financial records.
• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including processing invoices, bills, customer payments, and supplier payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and payment records, ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
• Maintain and update financial records within QuickBooks, ensuring all bookkeeping entries are accurate and current.
• Monitor customer payments processed through Stripe, reconcile transactions, and investigate payment issues when required.
• Manage bill approvals and payment workflows using Bill.com, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations, financial reporting, and the preparation of supporting documentation for the Finance Manager.
• Maintain organized digital financial records and supporting documents, ensuring easy retrieval for audits and internal reviews.
• Resolve billing, payment, and reconciliation discrepancies through coordination with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide general bookkeeping and administrative support to the Finance team while ensuring compliance with company financial procedures.
