Pax8 Philippines Inc. in Makati, Philippines seeks a Full Stack Engineer 2 for a permanent night shift (10pm–6am) to advance billing intelligence, automation, and observability in a cloud marketplace. You’ll build scalable, end‑to‑end solutions while collaborating across product, finance, and operations.

You will mentor peers, design robust data workflows, and push for incremental value with solid engineering practices in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern full‑stack applications with a strong emphasis on backend engineering.
• Significant expertise with Python and SQL for application development, automation, and data processing.
• Proven experience working with large, complex datasets where accuracy and reliability are critical.
• Strong knowledge of cloud‑native technologies, containerisation, and modern deployment practices.
• Practical experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript, and related engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop intelligent observability platforms that provide deep insight into billing performance, subscription activity, and operational health.
• Design automation tools that remove manual effort, increase efficiency, and improve accuracy across large-scale billing operations.
• Develop scalable full‑stack applications, APIs, services, and data workflows using modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Support, and Operations to translate insights into sustainable tech solutions.
• Mentor team members and contribute to architectural discussions to shape Marketplace Operations tooling.
