Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Bids and Proposals Specialist (Night Shift) to interface with growth teams and operations to win work. The role leads responses to RFIs/RFPs, coordinates content, and ensures proposal compliance from capture through interview stages.

It may involve leading small to medium proposals and guiding entry-level team members. Responsibilities include managing content, templates, and design, with emphasis on adherence to brand guidelines and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least four (4) years bid support experience, preferably in a professional services firm similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and proposal management of RFQ/P responses.
• Experience in proposal and presentation writing and production.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word and PowerPoint).
• Understanding of graphic design and ability to communicate content visually per brand guidelines.
• Skills in Adobe Creative Suite—InDesign—and Salesforce experience would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to client RFIs/RFQs/RFPs and apply standard pursuit processes to ensure schedule and bid compliance.
• Assist with large proposals and lead small to medium proposals across regions or business lines.
• Coordinate content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, and content plan.
• Provide conceptual leadership for document design and may serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections.
• Facilitate color review sessions and apply lessons learned to proposals to add value.
• Participate in go/no-go and greenlight analyses and support capture planning and positioning activities.
