Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Bid/Proposal professional to support the process of winning work in a hybrid Manila team. You will lead responses to RFIs/RFPs, coordinate content, and manage production from capture through to interviews.

You’ll guide entry-level staff, ensure quality through brand guidelines, and leverage MS Office, InDesign, and Salesforce to craft compelling proposals. Night shift schedule applies.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years bid-support experience, preferably in a professional services firm
• Experience with RFQ/RFP/RFI responses and proposal workflows
• Strong MS Office and presentation design skills
• Understanding of brand guidelines and visual content communication

Job Brief

Interfaces with business line growth team and operations to support the process of winning work. Leads responses to client RFI/RFQ/RFPs and applies standard pursuit processes to ensure efficiency in schedule and bid compliance. Responsible for print, electronic and oral proposal deliverables. Provides market research and competitive intelligence and leverages data systems and tools to support proposal strategy and business strategic planning efforts.

Job Summary

• Assists with large proposals and able to lead small to medium proposals (cross regions or business lines), and supports from capture through to interview stage, as required.
• Coordinates content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan and production. Provides conceptual leadership for document design. May serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections for proposals.
• May facilitate color review (Pink and Red team) reviews, and apply lessons learned to add value to proposals. Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
• Participates in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal.
• Completes internal debriefs for proposals they lead and reviews debriefs and reviews client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement.
• Has solid working knowledge of company quality procedures and approval processes (legal, contracts, DOA, signatory).
• Liaises with appropriate/relevant business line team, operations, technical, and business development professionals to support or develop marketing information (including but not limited to case studies/project sheets and capabilities summaries).
• Provides guidance to entry level proposal team members
• Performs a self-check of work prior to submitting to others for review/approval

Amenable for night shift schedule (9PM to 6AM, Manila time)

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least four (4) years Bid support experience, preferably within a professional services firm in a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and toolsas related to proposal management of RFQ/P responses
• Experienced in proposal and presentation writing and production
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint
• Understanding of graphic design and an eye for communicating content visually – can effectively use our brand guidelines and work with our corporate identity
• Skills in Adobe Creative especially InDesign and Salesforce experience would be highly regarded
