Job summary

Princess Cruises is seeking a Chef de Partie Pizza - MMC in the Philippines to lead high-volume Neapolitan pizza production aboard. You will supervise the pizzeria team, ensure authentic hand-tossed crusts, manage inventory, and train junior staff to uphold our standards at sea.

With at least 5 years as a Pizzaiolo and English proficiency, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while contributing to cost control and menu development in a dynamic galley environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pizzaiolo in high-volume handmade pizza production.
• Formal Pizzaiolo Certification preferred.
• Solid knowledge of the Neapolitan pizza process, dough prep, baking techniques and toppings.
• Knowledge of different pizza styles from Margherita to specialty pizzas.
• Good English skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong guest service approach and teamwork in a cruise ship environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Neapolitan-style pizza to passengers, from Margherita to daily specials.
• Oversee Top-Deck pizzeria operations ensuring hand-tossed, fresh-baked pizzas per recipes.
• Monitor ingredients, minimize waste, and inform Chef of fluctuations.
• Supervise Demi Chef de Partie Pizza and Commis Chef; provide training/coaching.
• Maintain pizza recipe files and assist budget and cost targets in the pizzeria.
• Improve production methods, techniques, and presentation of pizza products.
• Mentor top performers and support career advancement.
• Train staff in baking, menu knowledge, and product presentation.
