Job summary

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Technician for Parkford Suites Makati. This full-time role in Makati City involves maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure guest and resident comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with low-level maintenance, reads technical manuals, and can work independently or as part of a team. A high school diploma is required; technical certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Maintenance/Multi-Skilled Technician in hospitality or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Skilled with hand and power tools; ability to read maintenance manuals/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems throughout the facility.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests/residents; troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct daily inspections of common areas, guest rooms, and systems to identify problems.
• Repair/replace faulty equipment and components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Follow health, safety and environmental regulations; report major issues to management.

About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Skilled Technician to join our team at Parkford Suites Makati. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of various systems and facilities within the property. This role is essential to ensuring that Parkford Suites Makati operates smoothly and that all guests and residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems throughout the facility

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and residents, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently

• Conduct daily inspections of common areas, guest rooms, and facility systems to identify any potential problems

• Repair and replace faulty equipment, fixtures, and components using appropriate tools and techniques

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and parts used

• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties as required

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure facility operations run seamlessly

• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures

• Report any major issues or safety concerns to management immediately

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in hospitality or facility management

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach

• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items and work at heights when necessary

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are advantageous

• Valid driver's license is preferred

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
