About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Technician with NC2 to join our dynamic maintenance team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our clients' facilities and equipment. As a Multi Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across different systems and equipment, contributing directly to the reliability and efficiency of our service delivery. This role requires someone who is versatile, dependable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various building systems, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and general mechanical equipment

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems

• Execute repairs and maintenance tasks using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment with precision and safety

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency service calls from clients

• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work completed, including parts used and time spent on each task

• Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures whilst on site

• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient completion of maintenance projects

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment and properly store tools and materials

What we're looking for

• NC2 Certification: Must possess a valid National Certification Level 2 (NC2) in a relevant skilled trade such as Electrical Installation, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Welding, or Plumbing

• Proven experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in maintenance and repair work across multiple trades and systems

• Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical systems, plumbing systems, air conditioning units, and general mechanical equipment

• Diagnostic skills: Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically and identify root causes of equipment failures

• Tool proficiency: Competency in using a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Physical fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces

• Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to work quality and accuracy in maintenance procedures

• Communication skills: Clear communication with supervisors, team members, and clients regarding maintenance issues and progress

• Problem-solving ability: Strong analytical skills and capacity to work independently to resolve technical challenges

• Safety awareness: Deep commitment to following safety regulations and best practices on all work sites

• Preferred: Experience with building automation systems, HVAC systems, or commercial facility maintenance
