Holiday Plaza Hotel in Cebu City is seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Technician to join our maintenance team on a full-time basis. You will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry across the hotel, ensuring peak performance and guest comfort.

Based in Cebu City, you will respond to guest requests, perform inspections, and collaborate with departments to uphold safety standards and service quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Technician or similar in hospitality or commercial settings.
• Competent in at least three of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or general repairs.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with quick fault diagnosis.
• Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise multiple requests independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on hotel building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
• Inspect building infrastructure, equipment, and facilities to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance work in guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and materials used.
• Support emergency repairs and after-hours call-outs as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet safety and guest satisfaction standards.
• Operate and monitor building management systems and equipment performance.

About the role

Holiday Plaza Hotel is seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Technician to join our maintenance team on a full-time basis. Based in Cebu City, Cebu, this role is pivotal to ensuring our hotel facilities operate at peak performance. As a Multi Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a diverse range of building systems and equipment across our hospitality property. This position is essential to delivering the high standards of comfort and safety that our guests expect, whilst supporting the operational excellence of our hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on hotel building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently
• Conduct regular inspections of building infrastructure, equipment, and facilities to identify potential problems before they escal**?**
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance work on guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used
• Support emergency repairs and urgent maintenance needs, including after-hours call-outs as required
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure facilities meet safety standards and guest satisfaction requirements
• Operate and maintain building management systems and monitor equipment performance

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Building Tradesperson in a hospitality or commercial environment
• Demonstrated competency in at least three of the following: plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC maintenance, carpentry, and general repairs
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in building maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to diagnose faults quickly and accurately
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple maintenance requests and work independently
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with various tools and equipment
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset when interacting with guests and staff
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in building trades (such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC) are highly desirable
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous
