Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems across different technical domains

• Diagnose technical faults and malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools and troubleshooting methodologies

• Execute repairs and installations with precision and attention to safety standards and quality requirements

• Document all work completed, including parts used, time spent, and technical observations for record-keeping purposes

• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests, prioritising urgent technical issues

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate complex technical projects and ensure timely completion

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

• Keep abreast of technical developments and new equipment to enhance service capabilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding equipment operation and maintenance best practices

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a technician in one or more technical trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or similar fields)

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment relevant to your specialisation

• Knowledge of safety protocols, regulations, and best practices in the trades and services industry

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues and solutions to clients and team members

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, work at heights, and operate in various environmental conditions

• Willingness to expand technical skill set and pursue relevant certifications or training opportunities

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation (preferred)
