Job summary

BDO Network Bank in the Philippines is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan-volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and outstanding customer service.

You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts, assess applicants to determine feasibility, coordinate with processing units, review loan files, and drive sales/marketing activities to reach community targets.

Qualifications

• Four-year or five-year degree holder.
• Strong selling, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge required.
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience with microfinance is a plus.
• Willingness to drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze applicants to determine loan feasibility.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to maintain credit quality.
• Coordinate with other units for processing and servicing loans.
• Review loan files and agreements to ensure credit processing readiness.
• Execute sales/marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
