Job summary

BDO Unibank's Network Bank unit seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Philippines. You will drive loan growth while maintaining profitability and sound credit quality, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will solicit, evaluate, and process microfinance loan applications, coordinating with relevant units for timely loan bookings. The role emphasizes field sales, basic math, and familiarity with word processing and spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree Holder.
• Good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably able to drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with concerned officers/units for processing and servicing loan applications.
• Review and update loan files and agreements for credit processing and booking.
• Execute sales/marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
