Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. in Cebu, Philippines, is seeking an Account Officer to drive microfinance loan volume while maintaining profitability and sound credit quality, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will handle MSME loan inquiries, analyze qualifications, initiate credit and collections activities, and coordinate with bank units to process loan applications. Motorcycle driving is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Completion of any Bachelor’s degree.
• Sales and fieldwork experience on Microfinance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiates credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinates with other bank officers or units related to the processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Perform other functions that may be assigned to him/her
• Ensure compliance with Banks policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
