Job summary

BDO Unibank’s MSME Account Officer will drive microfinance loan growth while preserving credit quality and delivering excellent customer service. The role requires fieldwork in Aritao Nueva Vizcaya, with duties spanning loan solicitation, qualification assessment, credit actions, and sales activities.

The candidate should have a four- or five-year degree, strong communication skills, basic math, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel; motorcycle driving is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must graduate with a four- or five-year degree.
• Good selling, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge required.
• Familiarity with MS Word and Excel preferred.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Willing to be assigned in Aritao Nueva Vizcaya.
• Driving a motorcycle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer.
• Analyze overall loan applicant's qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.
