Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to drive loan volume while upholding profitability and sound credit quality, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service across communities.

The role requires actively soliciting microfinance loan accounts, analyzing applicant qualifications, initiating credit and collection activities, coordinating with processing units, and maintaining up-to-date loan files to ensure accurate loan booking

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets
