Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. You will drive loan production through field visits, assess applicant qualifications, and maintain sound credit quality while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires strong analytical and sales skills, willingness to travel daily, and ability to coordinate with internal units. A four- or five-year degree is required; motorcycle driving is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year or five-year degree program.
• Strong selling, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willing to conduct field work almost daily.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits to meet customer needs.
• Analyze applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with concerned officers/units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and clients.
• Review and update loan files and agreements for credit processing and booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
