Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Dasmariñas area. The role focuses on achieving loan targets while maintaining profitability and quality customer service.

Responsibilities include field visits to solicit loans, evaluating applicants, initiating collections, coordinating with processing units, maintaining loan files, and driving sales activities to meet volume goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to perform field work on a daily basis.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with MS Word and Excel.
• Motorcycle riding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by doing field visits to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets
