Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Coordinator with US mortgage experience. This remote role supports the loan process from file setup through processing, coordinating third‑party orders and maintaining accurate loan files.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple files, ensure timely order-outs, and maintain thorough documentation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in a remote team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of US mortgage industry experience, preferably in loan coordination or processing.
• Hands-on experience with mortgage file setup and order-outs.
• Experience ordering and tracking title, insurance, employment verification, payoff, appraisal, inspection, and other mortgage documents.
• Familiarity with mortgage processing lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain mortgage loan files accurately and efficiently.
• Review and organize loan documentation to ensure completeness.
• Monitor milestones and move files through processing stages.
• Order and track third‑party services and documentation (title, WVOE/VVOE, appraisals, etc.).
• Pull USPS information, flood certificates, Demotech data, and processing contacts.
• Manage inbox and calendar for the loan coordinator and respond to requests.
