GAKKEN PHILIPPINES INC. (INC) is seeking a MIS Assistant to monitor, secure, and optimize head office data, hardware, and networks. You will diagnose hardware issues, perform repairs, and ensure resource efficiency to support company goals.

The role requires a MIS/IT degree, SDLC knowledge, and experience with SQL, Power BI, and reporting tools. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for collaboration with IT and operations teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS/IT/CE is required.
Experience with SDLC and process improvement methods preferred.
Data visualization and database management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and secure head office data, hardware, network, and internet resources.
Perform in-depth hardware diagnosis, repairs, and updates to ensure reliability.
Assist in system configuration, UAT, and end-user training as needed.
Prepare technical documentation and support cross-functional IT/operations teams.

MIS Assistant primarily responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and securing head office's data, hardware, network and internet resources. He/she performs in-depth hardware diagnosis, repairs & updates to guarantee units' reliability and ensures proper utilization of resources for the achievement of the company's goal.

What we're looking for:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of business process analysis and workflow documentation.
Knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and process improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in database management (SQL, MySQL, MS Access) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., VBA, RPA platforms like UiPath) for streamlining processes.
Competence in requirements gathering, preparing technical documentation, and testing new system features.
Understanding of system integration and change management principles.
Knowledge in Network operations

Work Experience

Experience supporting systems development projects or process optimization initiatives.
Exposure to ERP/CRM system configuration and custom report creation (Crystal Report, Report Designer).
Practical involvement in user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user training.

Soft Skills

Analytical mindset with the ability to spot inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Strong communication and documentation skills for bridging technical and non- technical teams.
Adaptability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
Collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in IT and operations.
