Chart Industries, Inc. seeks a New Build Sales Manager – Industrials (Mining) to drive growth by cultivating relationships with mining operators and stakeholders.

You will own the full sales cycle, qualify opportunities, and manage a robust pipeline to deliver high‑value mining ventilation, cooling, and related solutions. You will translate customer needs into compelling technical and commercial offerings, collaborate with Legal, Finance, and BU teams to ensure compliant proposals, and engage

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales or business development in mining equipment or industrial capital equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mine ventilation and cooling systems; established sector relationships.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation with C-suite stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and sales processes.
• Experience negotiating Commercial Terms & Conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strong relationships with mining operators, EPCMs, and consultants.
• Lead the full sales cycle; from inquiry to order closure, with disciplined qualification and forecasting.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to support sustained business growth.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Business Solutions, Controls Systems, Services, and BU teams to ensure accurate, compliant proposals.
• Drive order growth through targeted pursuits and structured account planning.
• Lead the development of proposals, pricing, and commercial terms; ensure competitive, accurate submissions and maintain Salesforce discipline.
