Job summary

Carmen Copper Corporation seeks a licensed Metallurgical/Chemical/Mechanical Engineer to drive strategic planning for Mill Operations. The role focuses on cost-effective management, safety, and adherence to environmental and legal standards.

Responsibilities include planning dewatering operations to meet production and grade targets, optimizing resource use, and leading projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while monitoring equipment and ensuring availability of support gear for loading

Qualifications

Must be a licensed Metallurgical, Chemical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
With at least 10 years experience in Mineral Processing, Plant and Equipment Operations and Process control.

Responsibilities

Plan and organize dewatering operations to meet target concentrate production and grade.
Control resources to minimize costs and maintain efficiencies.
Identify contingencies affecting flotation and copper dewatering operations over 3–5 years.
Manage operation and manpower of Low Grade Cleaner, Regrind Ball Mill, Filtration, Thickening operation and Concentrate Loading.
Lead Dewatering Operations projects and formulate steps for on-time, on-budget implementation.
Monitor major equipment parts and consumables to ensure continuous operation.
Ensure support equipment availability in coordination with Heavy Equipment for loading activity.
Evaluate data and provide direction in mill planning.
