Job summary

Holcim Philippines, Inc. seeks a CCR Operator to run the Cement Mill and Packhouse at optimum capacity, ensuring product quality while minimizing energy use. You will operate within safety and environmental standards and monitor parameters to meet production targets and cost goals.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and a licensed engineer, plus 3–5 years of cement mill or related experience. Willingness to work on a shifting schedule and coordinate with Cement Technicians is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate production units within process parameters to prevent breakdowns.

• Create/update SAP notifications for equipment malfunctions to trigger work orders.
• Perform SPS activities such as ball charging and bag filter replacement.
• Report production performance and equipment status.

Job description

The CCR Operator operates the Cement Mill and Packhouse at optimum capacity to attain target production volume that conforms to the required product quality standard and at the least energy consumption to achieve minimum production cost.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and control the production units with high regard to environment, safety and equipment condition by operating within specified process parameters and equipment standards to prevent breakdowns and production losses

• Monitor line operation parameters and make necessary adjustments in coordination with other departments for any deviations from target (volume, quality and emissions) and operational limits.

• Coordinate with the Cement Technicians on the pre-operational check-up and inspection of equipment and its auxiliaries before start-up

• Prepare/create/update notifications with the SAP system during equipment/instrument malfunction and breakdown to ensure that work orders are served by concerned departments

• Perform and supervise assigned SPS activities (ball charging, bag filter replacement)

• Reporting of production performance and equipment status in the TIS

Requirements:

• Graduate of BS in Engineering e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Electronics & Communications (ECE)

• Must be a Licensed Engineer

• At least three (3) to five (5) years of working experience in cement mill operation, coal mill operations, crusher operator and ship loader operation

• Willing to work in a shifting schedule
