Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Cadet Engineer Trainee to join the Mill Production team in Mandaluyong. You will learn to operate, monitor, and maintain screenroom equipment for wheat cleaning and tempering before milling.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, are graduates or fresh entrants, and licensed Mechanical Engineers. On-site work with safety and quality standards is emphasized, with hands-on training and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Graduates or fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

Check daily condition of cleaning equipment that removes dust, stones and foreign material from raw wheat.
Help maintain a stable and consistent flow rate of wheat through cleaning and tempering equipment.
Take regular wheat samples for laboratory analysis.
Keep the screenroom clean and maintain cleaning equipment.
Complete daily checklist for machinery performance.
Assist maintenance teams during minor equipment adjustments or scheduled mill shutdowns.
Follow industrial safety rules, hygiene protocols and food safety standards.
