Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to monitor and test fire protection systems and support the Engineering Maintenance Team at the mill. The role requires hands-on maintenance of mill equipment and ensuring systems operate reliably.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical Engineering background, 1 year of experience or are fresh graduates willing to learn, with computer literacy and AutoCAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test the operation of fire protection systems including FPDAS, Fire Pumps, Pre-Action Valve Systems and Ventilation System.
• Prepare spare parts and schedule preventive maintenance for mill equipment.
• Support and assist the Engineering Maintenance Team with repair and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure that all mill machines are clean, well maintained and in good operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Manager.
