Job summary

BDO Network Bank seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan targets while sustaining profitability, credit quality, and excellent customer service.

You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts through field visits, analyze applicants, initiate credit and collection actions, coordinate with units for processing, and drive sales to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to do field work almost daily.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers/units for processing and servicing loans.
• Review and update customer loan files to ensure adequacy for processing.
• Execute sales and marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
