Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a Traffic / Trade Finance / Operations Manager based in Zug, Switzerland. You will coordinate freight, manage contract administration, and lead a small team of operators to ensure timely delivery of goods.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in traffic roles within base metals or concentrates, is fluent in English, and proficient with L/C and international transport docs. Accurity GmbH handles Swiss-based recruitment.

Qualifications

• Commercial background with around 8–12 years (or more) experience in a Traffic position.
• Familiarity with letters of credit and international transport documentation.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Excellent MS Office skills and operations knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with forwarders and shipping agents for freight/chartering of vessels, barges, trucks, and railcars.
• Manage full contract administration, ensuring timely delivery, issuing invoices and payment orders, and preparing B/L instructions.
• Instruct surveyors for materials’ inspection, survey, and tallying.
• Handle commercial claims with responsible traders.
• Declare stocks under insurance policies and for banking purposes.
• Reports into Management.
