Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a senior steel trader to drive growth across global markets, with responsibilities spanning portfolio development and cross-border trading. The role involves direct engagement with clients and suppliers, negotiating terms and coordinating end-to-end trades.

You will report to the Managing Director, work across Germany, Switzerland or Italy, and leverage a robust network to secure opportunities in flat, long, stainless, prime or non-prime steel categories.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in international steel trading.
• Strong knowledge of a major steel category (flat, long, stainless, prime or non-prime).
• Excellent negotiation and commercial skills from sourcing to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a personal portfolio of steel clients, leveraging relationships to generate trading opportunities.
• Lead trading activities in core steel product areas and expand business opportunities across global markets.
• Negotiate deals and manage end-to-end trades with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
• Report to the Managing Director.
