Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking an Operator to join the team in Singapore. The role focuses on coordinating shipments to clients, preparing purchase orders, and maintaining inventory reporting to traders.

You will liaise with trading, risk, and trade finance teams to ensure smooth processes and stay within credit limits. The position reports to Team Leads and Regional Head of Oil Operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in operations, logistics, international trading or similar role for base metals ideally in large trading organisation.
Strong communication skills and organization skills for handling high value transactions.
Understanding of global shipping and relevant documentation (L/C) and collaboration with metals trading teams.
Passionate about commodity markets and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Located in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Coordinate shipments to clients and ensure processing per schedule.
Prepare purchase orders from clients and advise traders on declarations, plus monthly inventory reporting.
Maintain regular communication with trading, risk and trade finance teams for smooth processes.
Ensure clients stay within credit limits before shipping and request invoices from the invoicing analyst.
Reports to Team Leads and Regional Head of Oil Operations.
