Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is recruiting an Aluminium trader to join the commercial team in Zurich. The role focuses on executing and growing aluminium trading activities, sourcing and selling to clients across global markets.

Ideal candidates hold a finance-related Bachelor’s degree (CFA or advanced degrees a plus) with at least 5 years of aluminium/metals trading experience, strong knowledge of LME operations, and fluency in English. German or French is desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; CFA or advanced degrees a plus.
Minimum 5 years of aluminium/metals trading experience, preferably with a trading house or financial institution.
In-depth knowledge of aluminium markets, pricing mechanisms, and LME operations.
Proven success in deal-making, client management and achieving trading targets.
Fluency in English; German or French desirable; strong analytical tools.

Responsibilities

Execute and grow aluminium trading activities, sourcing and selling to clients globally.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and industry stakeholders.
Analyse market data, price trends and supply-demand dynamics to inform strategies.
Negotiate contracts, structure deals, and oversee trade execution and logistics.
Represent the company at industry conferences and events.
