Job summary

Waste Solutions & Management Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced MEPfS Quality & Site Engineer to monitor installation, review plans, and ensure conformance with project specs and Philippine regulations.

You will coordinate with project teams to address technical issues and maintain quality records. Responsibilities include inspecting works, witnessing tests, preparing progress reports, and driving corrective actions to close punch lists and ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MEPfS installation and construction activities at project sites to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, scope of work, project schedule, and applicable standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of MEPfS works, materials, equipment, and installations; identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Review MEPfS plans, drawings, specifications, method statements, and other technical documents to ensure proper implementation and identify potential technical issues or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other concerned personnel on MEPfS requirements, site issues, technical concerns, and quality matters.
• Assist in monitoring and witnessing required inspection, testing, commissioning, and verification activities of MEPfS systems and ensure that required test results and documentation are properly completed.
• Inspect delivered MEPfS materials, equipment, and workmanship to verify compliance with approved specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Prepare regular site inspection, quality control, technical assessment, and progress reports and promptly report significant issues, delays, defects, or non-conformities to the Project Manager and Management.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date MEPfS quality records, inspection checklists, test reports, approved materials, drawings, punch lists, non-conformance reports, as-built documents, and other project records.
• Monitor identified deficiencies and punch-list items and coordinate with responsible personnel to ensure timely correction, re-inspection, and closure of outstanding quality issues.
• Ensure that MEPfS works comply with applicable Philippine laws, codes, regulations, industry standards, project specifications, and company policies, as applicable.
• Supports the ISO initiatives and adopts the continual improvement mindset to always look for opportunities for improvement and change obsolete processes and/or innovate for the best interest of the company.
• Performs other engineering, site supervision, quality control, inspection, and related functions that may be assigned by Management or the immediate superior from time to time.
