Job summary

DUMDUMA CONSTRUCTION AND TRADING CORPORATION in Manila seeks a Mechanical Engineer with MEPF experience to supervise and review MEPF designs and execution.

You will coordinate with consultants, review drawings, prepare BOQ, support cost control, and ensure timely delivery of outputs at Metro Manila/provincial sites.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering licence preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in the Construction Industry.
• MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) systems experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; highly organized and assertive.
• Analytical, decisive, keen on details and possesses excellent people/project management skills.
• Willing to work in Metro Manila or provincial sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and reviews MEPF designs including execution works of MEPF works.
• Reviews for construction drawings to generate RFI and RFA to make changes.
• Creates proposals and recommendations to ensure quality and efficiency of designs/plan.
• Reviews and verifies contract scope deliverables for alignment with construction drawings.
• Supervises preparation for BOQ and quantity take-off.
• Prepares drawings and documents for utility applications for temporary facilities and construction.
• Preparation of Subcon Billings for MEPF works including claims and reconciliation of change orders.
• Reviews and evaluates sub-con billings and claims for MEPF works.
• Submits project accomplishment report of the works.
• Supervises all activities for all trades of MEPF accomplishment and ensures timely delivery of output.
• Provides catch-up schedule and strategies when needed.
• Checks and evaluates material and site request forms.
• Supervises and responds to technical difficulties during project execution, in coordination with consultants and designers.
• Monitors productivity and schedule of admin / subcon manpower.
