JOB SUMMARY

The MEPFS Engineer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and monitoring MEPFS works on-site. The role ensures that mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and sanitary systems are installed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while maintaining a safe working environment.

External: Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in MEPFS engineering, site supervision, or a related engineering role.
• Knowledgeable in residential fit-out projects.
• Technically proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
• Knowledgeable in MEPFS plans, installation, testing, and inspection.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Project Execution

• Supervise daily MEPFS construction activities and ensure work is performed according to approved plans and specifications.
• Monitor the installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and sanitary systems.
• Monitor project progress and ensure MEPFS activities are completed within the approved schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to resolve site issues promptly.

2. Quality Control & Inspection

• Conduct site inspections to verify MEPFS installations, workmanship, and compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure materials and completed MEPFS works meet quality standards before acceptance.
• Report non-conforming works and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of MEPFS systems as required.

3. Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with the Project Engineer, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding MEPFS requirements.
• Review MEPFS plans, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Prepare daily accomplishment reports, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
• Assist in material verification, quantity checking, and monitoring of site deliveries.

OTHER DUTIES

• Provide backup relief for other team members and perform ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time to support the department and the company.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and occupational health and safety regulations.
