Baldo Construction and Development Corporation is seeking an MEPFS Project Engineer to coordinate, supervise, and monitor MEPFS works across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on site. The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree, a PRC license, and 3–5 years in MEPFS construction, with strong coordination and project management skills to drive timely

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • PRC License preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in MEPFS construction, preferably in general building or commercial construction projects.
  • Experience in MEPFS site supervision, subcontractor coordination, and project execution.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret MEPFS drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret MEPFS plans, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Supervise and monitor MEPFS installation and construction activities on site.
  • Coordinate MEPFS works with Civil, Structural, Architectural, and other project disciplines to avoid clashes, rework, and delays.
  • Coordinate and monitor MEPFS subcontractors, suppliers, and manpower.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper installation and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor MEPFS project progress against the approved schedule and target completion dates.
  • Check the quality and proper installation of MEPFS materials, equipment, and systems.
  • Identify site issues, design conflicts, and technical concerns and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding MEPFS-related matters.
  • Monitor testing, inspection, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEPFS systems.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety teams to ensure compliance with project quality and safety requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports, inspection requests, testing reports, and other project documentation.
  • Ensure proper completion and submission of as-built drawings, turnover documents, and commissioning records.
  • Attend coordination and project meetings and provide updates on MEPFS progress and concerns.
  • Assist in monitoring MEPFS-related costs, quantities, variations, and project requirements.
  • Ensure that MEPFS works are completed within the required quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Job Summary
