Job summary

LEAD TECH INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS CORPORATION in the Philippines seeks a Project Engineer to oversee construction site operations, ensuring safety, quality, cost control and on-time delivery.

You will prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor engineering projects; review drawings and submittals; conduct on-site inspections; attend project meetings; manage progress reports and invoicing; adapt to changing project needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction site operations to meet safety, quality, cost and timeline goals.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Ensure all safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.
• Check and review submittals, shop drawings, equipment drawings, samples and brochures per specs.
• Review subcontractor or supplier documents to ensure effective controls.
• Conduct on-site inspections for compliance with plans and specs.
• Attend and represent the company in project meetings.
• Monitor the project schedule to keep progress aligned with the plan.
• Prepare progress billing, cost proposals, and regular reports.
• Perform other duties including documentation and admin tasks.
• Adapt to changing project needs and provide assistance as directed.

Job description

• Oversee construction site operations to ensure that the project is completed in compliance with the established goals for safety, quality, cost, and timeline.

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects

• Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all works

• Check and review submittals, shop drawing, equipment drawing, samples and manufacturers brochure in compliance with the project specifications.

• Review subcontractor or supplier documents submittals (Quality plans, Inspection test plans and procedures) to ensures effective controls are in place.

• Conduct inspection work on site and ensure the performance of the work is in strict compliance with the plans and specifications.

• Attend and represent the company in regular projects meetings.

• Closely monitor the project schedule and ensure that work progress is in par with schedule.

• Prepare progress billing, cost proposals, work schedule, weekly reports, monthly reports, Site Memo, Non- Conformance report and verification of corrective action.

• Perform any other work-related duties as required for the execution of the project, including helping with administrative tasks related to project documentation or reporting.

• Adapt to the changing needs of the project and provide assistance wherever necessary, as directed by the superior.
