One Workforce Global Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scheduling Specialist to support a U.S.-based healthcare partner. This remote role involves managing appointment scheduling across providers, handling high-volume live calls, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant patient transitions.

You will verify patient information, match patients with clinicians, and coordinate with referral sources while maintaining top-notch service standards for an international client base.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical scheduling or healthcare administration is required.
• Strong experience handling live calls (inbound and outbound) in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient data privacy requirements.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• HIPAA certification or training (preferred).
• Experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare accounts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment scheduling across multiple providers and locations.
• Handle live calls daily (high-volume environment), including both inbound and outbound patient interactions.
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound follow-ups for scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling.
• Respond to patient emails and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collect and verify patient demographic and intake information.
• Match patients with appropriate clinicians and schedule appointments.
• Upload referrals, documentation, and patient records accurately.
• Coordinate with referral sources for seamless patient transitions.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Work efficiently across multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
