Job summary

Alcon, the global leader in eye care, seeks a Field Sales Specialist in Metro Manila to drive prescription-based demand for our products among Doctors. You will identify targets, develop a territory plan, deliver compelling product presentations, and ensure 100% achievement of yearly sales objectives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in medical sales, with eye-care experience as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in medical-related sales.
• Experience in the eye-care industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Meet Marketing, Promotional and Sales Objectives through effective and consistent detailing to HCPs.
• Meet Customer Relationship Management KPIs through SFDC and Pitcher execution.
• Provide pertinent and updated product information to target HCPs.
• Effective and timely implementation of territory business plan.
• Manage and Control operational expenses and company assets.
• Manage and support the development of Key Opinion Leaders within the territory.
• Establish positive/professional image for the company.
• Monitor sales, product movements and inventory levels at trade outlets and hospital pharmacies.
• Organize Promotional Activities and team initiatives to counteract competition.
• Respond to customer concerns and queries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Develops a tailor-fit program in the assigned territory.
• Conducts product presentations regularly for HCPs and allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Create prescription-based demand for Alcon products by promoting these products to target Doctors. To accomplish this, the OHS will identify, select and develop the right MD target to be included in his master list, implement a territory business plan, proposing and executing special programs while at the same time complying with company policies and procedures, industry and government guidelines, authority approval limits, strategic directions and in accordance with Alcon Standards of Compliance. Deliver 100% sales performance of all products versus target at end of the year.

• Monitor sales, product movements and inventory levels at the trade outlets (dispensing MDs, drugstores & industrial accounts) and hospital pharmacies.
• Organize Promotional Activities and supplement this with territory initiated action plans to counteract competition.
• Respond to customer concerns and queries.
• Perform other official duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor.
• Develops a tailor fit program in the assigned territory addressing the needs and providing applicable solution based on the available resources.
• Conducts product presentations regularly for HCPs and allied health professionals to increase education and disease awareness.

Education & Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in medical-related sales
• Experience in the eye-care industry is an advantage
