About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Medical Sales Representative to join our sales team that specializes in Ophthalmologic products such as iOLS, eye drops, and surgical textiles. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our medical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics and other medical facilities. This position is crucial to our business growth and plays a key part in ensuring that healthcare providers have access to quality medical solutions that improve patient outcomes. Ideally, you will work directly with clients to understand their needs, build lasting relationships and drive revenue growth within your assigned territory.
What you'll be doing
- Identifying and prospecting new clients within the healthcare sector, including hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and medical practices
- Presenting and demonstrating medical products and services to healthcare professionals and decision-makers
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals
- Preparing and delivering compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to client needs
- Conducting product training sessions for healthcare staff to ensure proper understanding and usage
- Gathering market feedback and competitor information to inform sales strategies and product development
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and pipeline management using CRM systems
- Collaborating with the marketing and support teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Attending industry conferences, trade shows and networking events to promote products and generate leads
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of at least 2-3 years in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales or healthcare-related sales roles
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, medical products and the sales process within this sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory requirements in the Philippine healthcare sector
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Metro Manila area
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare or a related field (preferred)
- Fluency in English and Filipino; additional language skills are advantageous
