Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to support an Australian-based sales engineering team specialising in cooling tower and mechanical equipment solutions.

You will help prepare technical estimates and tender submissions for HVAC, data centres, and industrial facilities. The role suits a mechanically minded engineer who enjoys detail and can translate requirements into accurate quotations, working with Sales Engineers and progressing tender packages from initial review

Qualifications

• Technically capable mechanical engineer able to learn complex products quickly.
• Possess strong estimating and tendering aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, specs and customer requirements.
• Work with Sales Engineers to define technical solutions and scope of works.
• Use equipment selection tools to choose cooling tower products and configurations.
• Prepare detailed estimates covering equipment, components, materials, labour, freight and onsite needs.
• Assist with both simple supply quotations and complex multi-component project estimates.
• Prepare tender submissions and related documentation.
• Update pricing and equipment selections as specifications evolve through the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with Australian Sales Engineers to confirm requirements and pricing assumptions.
• Maintain estimating/tender documentation and support sales admin.
