Job summary

Innovative Consulting Partners in the Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Estimation Engineer to prepare cost estimates and perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC ductwork, piping, and plumbing systems. The role supports tendering and pre-construction activities.

You will analyze drawings and specs, select components, and apply advanced Excel formulas to analyze costs and report findings. Working hours align with US Central Time Zone, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 1–7 years of experience in mechanical estimation, especially HVAC and plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork, piping, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and project specifications.
• Experience using quantity takeoff or estimation software.
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for HVAC ductwork, piping, plumbing systems, accessories, and related components.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using company-provided estimation software.
• Analyze mechanical drawings, project specifications, and tender documents.
• Ensure the correct selection of materials, connections, accessories, and system components.
• Use advanced Excel formulas for calculations, cost analysis, and reporting.
• Support tendering and pre-construction activities.
• Review estimates for accuracy and completeness before submission.
