One Outsource Direct Corporation is seeking a proactive Materials and Logistics Engineer to oversee material management, warehousing, and logistics for construction projects. You will monitor procurement deliveries, manage site warehouse operations, and coordinate material inspections to meet project schedules.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3–5 years in materials/warehousing/logistics for large-scale EPC or construction projects.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Materials and Logistics Engineer to oversee material management, warehousing, and logistics operations for construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring procurement deliveries, managing warehouse activities, coordinating material inspections, and ensuring the timely and efficient movement of materials and equipment in alignment with project schedules and construction requirements.
Monitor long-lead purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and track estimated delivery dates against the project master schedule.
Supervise inbound material deliveries at the site warehouse and verify quantities against shipping manifests, purchase orders, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Coordinate with the QA/QC team to conduct physical inspections of delivered materials and identify non-conforming, damaged, or unapproved items.
Oversee the organization, safety, and security of the site warehouse, ensuring sensitive materials and equipment are properly stored and protected.
Manage the staging, kitting, and allocation of materials to subcontractors and designated construction or installation areas.
Plan and coordinate on-site logistics activities, including traffic routing, laydown area utilization, crane scheduling, and machinery deployment to ensure safe and efficient material handling.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material and logistics status reports for project monitoring and management.
Maintain accurate material tracking records and ensure compliance with project requirements and inventory control procedures.
Coordinate effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, and project stakeholders to monitor delivery schedules and resolve logistics-related issues.
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related Bachelor's Degree program.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in materials management, warehousing and logistics coordination within large-scale MEPFS, industrial, EPC, or construction projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse or inventory management software.
Basic understanding of construction material standards and specifications.
Familiarity with identifying and verifying MEP materials, pipe schedules, valves, cables, and major equipment specifications.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate professionally with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping providers, and local customs brokers.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate material tracking records in a fast-paced project environment.
