Job summary

Netforce International, Inc. is seeking a Materials Planner to develop and maintain material plans aligned with project schedules and BOQ. You will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and quantity surveyors to ensure timely delivery of construction materials.

The role requires 2–5 years in materials planning, inventory control, or procurement within construction. You will monitor consumption, forecast needs, and optimize inventory, ensuring compliance with safety and procurement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, procurement, or supply chain within the construction industry.
  • Experience supporting multiple construction projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain material requirement plans based on project schedules, work programs, and BOQ.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors to determine material requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor material consumption and forecast future material needs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure construction materials are delivered to project sites according to approved schedules.
  • Track purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery status to avoid project delays.
  • Identify potential material shortages and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement team for timely sourcing and purchasing of required materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels at warehouses and project sites to prevent shortages, overstocking, and material wastage.
  • Maintain accurate records of material requests, deliveries, stock movements, and usage.
  • Review and update material planning schedules based on project progress and schedule revisions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on material availability, inventory levels, supplier performance, and planning status.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse personnel to ensure proper receiving, storage, and issuance of construction materials.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to material quality, delivery discrepancies, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, safety standards, and procurement procedures.
  • Support cost control initiatives by optimizing inventory levels and minimizing excess materials.
