Job summary

RU Group of Companies Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee projects from planning to completion. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and code compliance while leading on-site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.

Responsibilities include site supervision, reporting, cost estimation, and coordination across purchasing, logistics, and documentation to support PMs and engineers on diverse construction projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).

• Prepare daily reports, photo documentation, and progress updates.
• Assist with quality control checks and report site/design issues.
• Track variation orders and coordinate subcontractor/supplier timelines.

• Assist with cost estimation, take-offs, and rate build-ups.
• Maintain supplier and material cost database.
• Attend and document coordination meetings; draft project update reports.
• Provide administrative and technical support to PMs and engineers.
