Job summary

Wan Hai Lines (Phils.), Inc. is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Support professional to provide prompt assistance on inquiries, monitor container status, and coordinate with overseas offices to ensure smooth cargo handling and business development.

You will assist Sales in trade activities, build strong client relationships, and manage tasks from vessel arrival to container return. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and a business degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and accurate assistance on customer inquiries and concerns—such as vessel status updates and issuing billing documents while providing prompt resolution to other issues.
• Complete and submit required Reports for Import within deadlines.
• Monitor container status and proactively follow up on releasing as well as return and payment-related concerns.
• Assist the Sales in the assigned trade by building strong client relationships, attending to requirements and coordinating with overseas offices for sales leads, rate arrangement and cargo free-time.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive follow-ups, responsiveness on daily email, and provide cargo updates.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth handling of shipments, from vessel arrival to container empty return.
• Act as In-House sales for trade assigned.
• Review and monitor import manifest per vessel.
• Approve or reject DG applications.
• Prepare waivers and other special arrangements per client request.

About the role
