About the role
To drive customer retention and revenue growth by managing key accounts, preparing competitive quotations and contract filling, and supporting the sales strategy of the company.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and negotiate quotations, service contracts, and tenders.
Provide guidance and support to Indoor Sales Executives on rate setting and customer handling.
Act as escalation point for complex customer enquiries and disputes.
Work closely with Documentation, Operations, and Equipment Control to ensure service quality.
Monitor customer booking patterns, shipment status, and container utilization.
Address service disruptions and coordinate solutions with internal teams.
Generate sales reports, customer performance analysis, and trade lane performance reviews.
Monitor competitor activities, freight trends, and global shipping market developments.
Provide input for sales planning, pricing strategy, and trade management.
Maintain updated customer records in CRM and sales systems.
About you
Diploma/Degree in Business, Logistics, Shipping, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
Strong understanding of shipping terms, surcharges, Incoterms, and trade lane dynamics.
Proven ability to handle key accounts and complex customer requirements.
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and shipping documentation systems.
Strong customer orientation and commercial acumen.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
