Job summary

Lago is seeking an Account Manager (Marketing) to own and grow relationships with marketing clients in a remote, international setup. You will translate client needs into actionable briefs for delivery teams and drive campaign success.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in account management, strong digital marketing knowledge, and excellent English communication. Independent contractor with flexibility across US time zones is preferred.

Qualifications

2 to 4 years of experience in account management or client services within marketing.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for an assigned portfolio of marketing clients, building strong trust-based relationships.
Lead regular client meetings and check-ins to review performance, discuss strategy, and address concerns.
Develop and present monthly performance reports with insights and strategic recommendations.
Translate client goals and feedback into clear internal briefs for delivery teams including paid media, SEO, content, and creative.
Proactively identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Monitor campaign performance and ensure deliverables are completed on time and to quality standards.
Manage client expectations around timelines, scope, and results.
Escalate and resolve client issues quickly, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
Collaborate with internal specialists to develop and refine client strategies.
Track account health metrics including NPS, retention, and revenue per account, and flag at-risk accounts proactively.
