About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to manage and coordinate end-to-end shipment activities for NVOCC operations. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, overseas agents, carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movements, timely shipment updates and effective resolution of operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end import, export, and transshipment operations for NVOCC shipments.
Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, and internal teams on bookings and cargo movements and delivery schedules.
Monitor vessel schedules, transshipment connections, and cargo status; proactively follow up on rollovers, delays, amendments and other exceptions.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, port authority regulations, and carrier/NVOCC SOPs.
Co-ordinate Dangerous Goods (DG) and transshipment routing requirements in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
Provide timely shipment updates and handle customer enquiries, exception and service recovery matters.
Coordinate billing matters, including freight charges, cost verification, and dispute follow-ups.
Maintain accurate shipment records in operational systems and support process and service improvements.

Job Requirements:
Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level with 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.
Candidates with a Diploma in Logistics/Shipping/ Business Studies or a related discipline preferred.
Familiarity with import/export procedures, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
Knowledge of Singapore customs regulations and permit declarations is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Resourceful, proactive and well-organised, with the ability to work independently.
Able to manage multiple shipments concurrently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with good organisational and follow-up skills.
