Job summary

MOL Enterprise (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a Voyage Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day vessel operations from our Ermita, Manila office.

You will act as the link between ship and shore, coordinating with vessel masters, charterers, and brokers to ensure safe, efficient voyages. The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with a willingness to work on-site and outside regular hours.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in operations, logistics, maritime, shipping, or related field.
• Specific experience in vessel operations helps with ship–shore coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in maritime or related studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned vessels to ensure smooth and safe voyages.
• Provide operational guidance and support, including voyage instructions and port details.
• Maintain daily communication with vessel masters and stakeholders (charterers, agents, brokers).
• Assist with Port Disbursement Accounts, bunkers, and hold-cleaning equipment.
• Monitor charter party compliance and escalate issues when necessary.
• Track voyage performance and assist with freight calculations and variance analysis.
• Support voyage cash flow management, including collections and disbursements.
• Update company systems with voyage data for reporting purposes.
• Travel occasionally to ports for vessel visits.

We're looking for a Voyage Operations Coordinator / Operations Officer to join our team in Ermita, Manila. In this role, you will help coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of our vessels, ensuring each voyage runs safely, efficiently, and smoothly.

You’ll act as a key link between ship and shore, communicating with vessel masters, charterers, agents, and other stakeholders to keep operations on track. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and looking to grow their career in the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned vessels to ensure smooth and safe voyages
• Provide operational guidance and support, including voyage instructions, port details, cargo updates, and safety advisories
• Maintain daily communication with vessel masters and stakeholders such as charterers, agents, bunker suppliers, and brokers
• Assist with operational arrangements, including Port Disbursement Accounts, bunkers, and hold-cleaning equipment
• Monitor charter party compliance and elevate any issues when necessary
• Track voyage performance and assist with freight calculations and variance analysis
• Support voyage cash flow management, including collections and timely disbursements
• Update company systems with voyage data for reporting purposes
• Travel occasionally to local or international ports for vessel visits as needed

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in operations, logistics, maritime, shipping, or a related field
• Specific experience in vessel operations is a plus to effectively coordinate ship-shore communications and operational arrangements
• Strong interest in building a long-term career in the shipping or maritime industry.
