Job summary

Shopee in Metro Manila is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Business Development professional to manage top marketplace seller accounts, negotiate deals, and drive growth. You will collaborate with mandarin-speaking sellers to advance monthly and quarterly initiatives and report progress to stakeholders.

You will evaluate forecasted metrics, provide insights to Category Managers, and prepare status reports on multiple accounts, contributing to overall marketplace growth in a dynamic e-commerce

Qualifications

• Mandarin proficiency (verbal and written) to liaise with sellers and stakeholders.
• Experience in Business Development, Sales or Management is preferred.
• Candidates with 0 to 8 years of experience welcomed to apply.
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaborative work style.
• Willingness to conduct seller visits across locations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with top Mandarin speaking Marketplace sellers/owners and representatives.
• Oversee assigned top Marketplace accounts, including negotiating deals, operational improvement and campaign participation to maximize growth.
• Work closely with stakeholders such as mandarin-speaking sellers to communicate key progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.
• Evaluate, forecast and track key account metrics.
• Provide in-depth insight on assigned sellers to Category Managers / Team Leads to support category strategies.
• Prepare status reports on multiple accounts.
