Job summary

PETROPLAS TRADING INCORPORATED is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility systems in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Technical/vocational certificate, diploma, NC III, or degree in mechanical or electrical tech.
• Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, facilities, or industrial settings preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system problems.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
• Repair or replace defective components, wiring, motors, bearings, sensors, and other equipment.
• Perform equipment installation, alignment, calibration, and testing.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and spare parts used.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure equipment complies with safety, operational, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments regarding equipment issues.

About you
